Snapfish Collage

For the past couple of weeks I have been trying to think of a way to create some type of album or collage with my pictures from my recent trip to Italy, so I browsed Google for some ideas. I decided to go to snapfish and create an account to upload my pictures. Then, I selected the photos I wanted and I was able to create a poster collage. I used 27 pictures, and the poster will be 30 x 20, so rather large. I paid about $25.00 for it and it's being shipped to my house! It's a perfect way to remember my trip. I can't wait to see it!

This is also a really neat tool that can be used in the classroom too, not just for personal use.

PS. check out the video tab of my blog.

  1. Teachers can use this same type of activity to capture pictures of their class on a field trip or to celebrate a particular topic. I am a firm believer you need to apply many of the tools in your personal life and then plan to use in the classroom. Skype is another perfect example.

  3. Another teacher recommended http://www.bighugelabs.com for posters and mosaics. Let us know what you think.

  4. The collage poster looks great Lauren. Thanks for sharing. I could use this in my classroom. Been wanting to get some posters for my Sci-Tech classes and now I could have the students design their own posters which we could then hang in the classroom.

  5. This is a really beautiful poster, Lauren. I always have photos posted in my classroom of our HS trips to Europe (because I am the person in charge of them)! This would be an even better way to make a neat display of each trip. I like that you were able to add text, too. I am definitely going to check this out.
    Thanks for sharing, Tina
